Who wants to waste time on this at your fun-filled music jaunt? Instead, opt for a 3-day plan of action to make the most of your hair and time!

Day 1 – Beachy Wavy Festival Hair

Once you’re ready to blow dry, use a large round bristle brush and pre blow drying product such as Philip Kingsley Instant Beach, for natural tousled waves or Philip Kingsley PK Prep for volume and smoothness.

Twist each section as you blow dry to achieve that worn “smooth” or “beach wave” texture.

Add a pretty singlet of flowers for a cool festival vibe and voila!

Day 2 – Adding Braids to Your Festival Hairstyle

Use a small amount of Philip Kingsley Texturising soft wax, scrunching from the mid lengths to ends.  For a braided look, take the top section of hair and split in two, braid each half, cross the plaits at the back and bring back to the front before knotting them together.

Pop a flower behind your ear or a pretty jewelled hair accessory and you are ready to rock your Summer Festival hairstyle!

Day 3 – Put Your Hair Into a Bun for Summer Festival Style

festival hairstyles, ongar hair salon Day 3 should all be about the upstyle, braided bun or messy fishtail.

The first step on day 3 is to spray your hair with Philip Kingsley ‘One More Day’ dry shampoo which will refresh your locks and make it easier to style.

For a braided bun, scoop the back section of the neck up to the crown and tie. With the remaining hair at the front get braiding, the more the better, wrap around the messy bun and secure!

If a fishtail braid is what you fancy, loosely split your hair in two at the nape of the neck, taking fine sections of hair from each side and bringing through to the middle leaving loose strands each side for that undone look. Tie at the end and finish with Philip Kingsley Weatherproof Hairspray to protect your hair from the great British weather!
