If you lighten your hair it is best to do this at least 2 days before the treatment and if you add colour we advise you do this at least 2 days after the treatment.
Once the treatment is complete, the hair can be shampooed in the salon after just 30 minutes (unlike many other straightening treatments). We will ensure that the hair is rinsed properly for 3-5 minutes before the first shampoo after the treatment.
We recommend only using KeraStraight Moisture Enhance Shampoos and Conditioners. These luxurious home care products are free from Sodium Chloride (Salt) and sulphates, both of which could strip the new proteins from the hair.
The time varies depending on the length and type of your hair. On average it takes approximately 2-3 hours.

Unlike many other Brazilian Blow Dry treatments or Long-Lasting Blow Drys KeraStraight does not contain formaldehyde, a chemical that has been a cause for concern for some time.
